"So I say to you, Soul Borrowers: Your most sacred duty is to take them, transport them, guide them round the majestic sights of the other worlds.

Open their eyes to the wonders. Some go there though laudanum; others through tortuous self denial and abasement; some through years of prayer or meditation, others through carnal excess and perversion.

You can take them using the mystic enchantment emanating from your instruments:

First, catch their minds, casting your hooks through their ears until their subconscious bites. Then gently, like an angler playing a great fish, coax them towards the opposite shore !

Move too quickly and the line will break; too slowly and they will wriggle free and the spell will be broken. Draw them, little by little, through the lands your imaginations have discovered

and share with them your heavenly joys ... finally, with love and tenderness, release them back to their own worlds enriched,

able to see them afresh with new eyes, ears and hearts.
